Day 01
Transfer & Welcome
Welcome to the heart of the Mediterranean, where every ride is a journey through history, nature,
and passion. Enjoy the warmth of Sicilian hospitality and the thrill of cycling on Mount Etna.

Day 02
Monte Etna
Ride the legendary slopes of Mount Etna on a road bike, enjoying smooth mountain roads
that wind through volcanic landscapes, vineyards, and breathtaking views of the
Sicilian coast.
If you prefer hiking, Mount Etna - Schiena dell’Asino offers a scenic trail
on the southern slopes of Mount Etna, inspired by the 18th-century traveler
Patrick Brydone. The route passes through unique landscapes, including pioneer
vegetation, Calabrian pine forests, and ancient lava flows, showcasing the volcano’s
geological history.
Along the way, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Ionian coast,
including Catania, Syracuse, and even Calabria on clear days.
A highlight is the impressive Valle del Bove, one of the largest volcanic
depressions in Europe.
Optional activity: visit to Grotta Cassone, a remarkable 250 meter
lava tunnel formed in 1792 (extra cost €30 per group).

Day 03
Transfer To Resort
A charming seaside town and the perfect starting point for scenic rides along
the coast and into the Sicilian mountains. Enjoy the sea views, local traditions,
and the warm hospitality that make Sicily unforgettable.

Day 04
Guidaloca Bay
Today’s ride follows one of western Sicily’s most scenic coastal routes.
Starting from Guidaloca Bay, you’ll cycle along crystal-clear waters,
dramatic cliffs, and picturesque fishing villages, enjoying stunning
Mediterranean views all the way to San Vito Lo Capo, known for its
golden beaches and turquoise sea. The route combines challenging climbs,
fast descents, and unforgettable coastal scenery.
If you prefer hiking, the seaside trail offers a varied landscape of
sandy beaches and rugged coastline, especially around Monte Cofano.
This area, known as the “Riviera dei Marmi,” features ancient marble
quarries and historic Spanish towers once used to protect the tuna
fisheries.

Day 05
San Giuseppe Lato
This scenic ride starts in Castellammare del Golfo and heads inland through
vineyards and olive groves toward Partinico and San Giuseppe Jato, before
looping back via Alcamo, known for its wine and historic charm. The route
offers a perfect mix of smooth roads, authentic villages, and sweeping
Sicilian landscapes.
If you prefer hiking, the trail begins in Scopello and leads into the
Zingaro Nature Reserve. Passing through a tunnel once planned for a
coastal road, you’ll discover a preserved natural area saved by local
activism. The path climbs through old rural districts before revealing
stunning views of Monte Cofano and the bay of Macari Bay.

Day 06
Palermo City
A day dedicated to discovering Palermo, a city where Arab, Norman, and Baroque influences meet. We'll reach the capital by van and join our local guide for a walk through its historic center, lively markets, and magnificent churches. After some free time to explore or enjoy a coffee in one of its elegant piazzas, we'll head back to Castellammare del Golfo.
Day 07
San Vito Lo Capo
This scenic ride explores western Sicily, starting from Castellammare del
Golfo and passing through vineyards, olive groves, and rolling hills.
As the route climbs toward the highlands above Trapani, it opens up to
stunning views of the sea, salt pans, and the Egadi Islands — a perfect mix
of nature, effort, and breathtaking landscapes.
If you prefer hiking, this trekking route is much more than a simple hike,
combining nature, history, and breathtaking scenery
It begins in the Crimiso River valley, a place rich in ancient
legends linked to the Elymians and Trojans. The trail climbs through
a canyon with Aleppo pine forests and Mediterranean vegetation,
offering stunning views along the way. At the summit of Mount Pispisa
(515 m), you are rewarded with panoramic views of the iconic Temple of
Segesta and the surrounding citrus groves.

Day 08
Transfer To Modica
Today we leave the northern coast behind and journey south toward the baroque
beauty of Modica. Along the way, we'll stop in Agrigento to explore the iconic
Valley of the Temples, a stunning archaeological site where ancient Greek temples
rise majestically from the Sicilian landscape. The drive itself is a journey through
the heart of Sicily — rolling hills dotted with vineyards and olive groves, charming
towns frozen in time, and panoramic views of the southern coastline.
From fertile valleys to dramatic cliffs, each stop offers a glimpse of Sicily's rich
history, culture, and natural beauty. We'll continue through scenic inland roads before
reaching Modica, where the unique charm of its baroque architecture and famous chocolate
awaits us, marking the perfect end to a day full of discovery and spectacular landscapes.

Day 09
Donnalucata
This Sicilian loop ride starts in Modica, famous for its baroque streets
and traditional chocolate. The route heads south toward the coast,
passing Marina di Modica and Donnalucata, where the Mediterranean
meets sandy beaches. It then climbs inland through rolling countryside
and the baroque town of Scicli before returning to Modica, combining
coastal scenery, rural landscapes, and cultural heritage.
The experience also includes a traditional Sicilian pasta-making class
with a local cook.
If you prefer hiking, this guided trail explores the most hidden and
evocative part of Cava d'Ispica, between the towns of Modica and Ispica.
The route runs inside the canyon, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation,
and leads to fascinating but little-known rock-cut archaeological sites,
including the Pernamazzoni cave village, the Rock Castle (Sicanian Castle),
and the Calicantone necropolis, with tombs dating back to the Castelluccio
period.

Day 10
Ragusa Ring
This ride explores the baroque town of Ragusa, just a short distance from
Modica. Cycling through gentle Sicilian hills, you reach the historic
center, where narrow streets, elegant piazzas, and local shops create an
authentic atmosphere. There is time to enjoy the architecture, a coffee
or gelato, and the local culture before returning to Modica.
If you prefer hiking, an easy flat trail inside the Vendicari Nature
Reserve crosses wetlands, salt pans, and Mediterranean scrub, an important
habitat for migratory birds. Along the way, you can see historic remains
such as the Swabian Tower, old tuna fisheries, saltworks, and an ancient
fish-processing site used for garum production. The route can also
continue along the coast toward the beaches of Calamosche and Marianelli,
with opportunities for swimming.

Day 11
Transfer to Airport
Today we say goodbye to beautiful Sicily. We'll transfer by van from Modica
to Catania Airport, enjoying the final glimpses of the island's rolling hills,
historic towns, and Mediterranean landscapes along the way. A heartfelt thank
you to all participants for sharing this incredible journey. We hope the memories
of Sicily's scenery, culture, and cycling adventures will stay with you — and we
look forward to the next adventure together!
